Accommodation Options at Mad Goats Sjoa – Heidal Valley

Camping spots (telte / campingplasser) and simple cabins for overnight (overnatting) accommodation while on your kayak course or tour in Sjoa. Are you looking for overnight accommodation Heidal, Norway? Our kayak and packraft base is in an idyllic location right next to the famous Sjoa river. We offer very affordable camping spots for tents and hammocks for only 100NOK per night. If you want to stay in a cabin or a hotel room, we recommend staying at either Gorafting or the Heidal Gjestgiveri. Both options are less than a 1km walk from our base.

Our facilities include an indoor toilet, indoor kitchen, outdoor shower and BBQ (bring coal).

We also have an onsite sauna and hot tub. You can book your sauna pass here for only 100NOK per person.

Unless it is for a private event, camping and cabins are only available to book between Friday and Monday during the summer months when kayak and packraft courses and tours are running. When booking please select the day of your arrival and the number of nights you wish to stay from the calendar.
